Brief Prelude for Violin and Piano (2013, Revised 2022); NotePerformer 3 Audio & Scrolling Score Video Seeking Live performances
This gentle prelude is inspired by rhythms and contours from Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen (Mahler), and the open fifth interval from La cathédrale agouties (Debussy). Otherwise the harmonies and melodies are very much my own. The revised version is 40 seconds longer and is much more expressive. Enjoy and perform often!
