SPANISH FANTASY features two modes: the six-note Iberian Scale (first theme) and the seven-note Spanish Gypsy Scale (second theme). Each scale begins with a minor second interval followed by an augmented second, imbuing each with a Hebraic flavor. The Iberian Scale also causes certain passages to sound bluesy.
