I just took the Finale to Dorico Pro 5 plunge. I figure that the Dorico software will not be this inexpensive ever again, so I may as well take advantage of the deal, and learn the program in my spare time in case any customers want me to use it with them. Truth be told, I still love and prefer Sibelius Ultimate, but one does what one must do as a sheet music engraver to remain relevant in the field.
I completed a string quartet score for ECS Publishing Group in Dorico while I was still in their employ; a sample page is attached. I never did get around to editing the instrumental parts, though; I got laid off because of the pandemic. #Finale #Dorico #SibeliusUltimate
