Orchestral Composition of the Day, Installment 8:
"Interlude for Orchestra"
("Intermezzo" for Organ, 1999; Arranged for Orchestra in 2005; 3 Minutes)
This music was originally composed as a commission from organist Carson Cooman. www.carsoncooman.com While the musical language of this work is chromatically saturated and harmonically dissonant at times, most of the music is lyrical in character.
I orchestrated the piece to add colors to the music, and to increase the chance for performances.
